One day major site to see in Howrah & calcutta

1-Victoria memorial

India's tallest skyscraper building THE 42 is clearly seen from Victoria memorial (front gate) and you can take photograph of The 42 or take selfie with The 42 from memorial.

The 42 are 879 ft tallest and 62 floor. This is generally road view but if you want to take selfie or photograph then take photography from Victoria memorials.

2-Indian museum

Near the Indian Museum there is Kolkata new market also which is cheapest market of Kolkata and metro station also there i.e. at one place you can complete museum,market and metro station(if you want to see)

3-Howrah bridge

Total length are 705 m. This bridge can see from bagbazar ghat or can see clearly by boat ride in hoogly river. When you go in bridge you can feel the bridge stiffness but to see clearly do boat ride in Hooghly river. 

4-science city

Largest science in centre under Indian subcontinent under National council of science museum. This Temple Also take more time to roam well. So be careful about time to Rome all Kolkata in in one day       

5-Belur math

It is the headquarter of Ramkrishna mission and Ramakrishna math. In this premises a temple and a musium. In temple you have to meditate few minutes if you have a time so overall you feel calm and piece in this premises.

6- Dakshineswar Kali Mata temple

this Temple generally take an hour to standing que so make your schedule such like that your time can easily manage.

7- Marble palace

In this premises apart from palace there are garden and zoo also.

8-kalighat kalimata temple

One of the 51 shakthi peetha's where the toes of the right foot of sati fell. Here some people may ask money to makes you see God quickly then don't trap. Go to see God own.

9-Eden garden

Entry in the stadium not allow for tourist can see from outside only. This stadium is on the Eden garden main road.

FOR TOURIST

Apart from above mentioned place there are and more places to visit in calcutta  like birla temple, jorasanko thakurbari, st paul's cathdral etc. but above mention place from 1-9 is mostly visited by tourist and second thing is that if you have one day to visit in calcutta then impossible to cover in one day all place even for visit above mention place 1-9 in one day you will have to visit every place very quickly OR if you want to visit comfortably then you will have to skip one of the kali temple because  temple take more time due to standing in queue.

Note:-

→Dakshineshwar kali temple and Kalighat kali temple both takes an hour separatly to stand in queue in normal days.

→try to roam indian museum quickly because it will take lot of time to see everything good, even a whole day will fall short for the whole museum to roam well.
