first day visiting place

[following places from 1-8 may easily cover in one day]

1-bakthang waterfall

No need of ticket to see this waterfall. this is 1st top attraction of gangtoke, spend more time hear. They also offer riginal dresses you can take photograph by wearing it. it charges some fees.

2-Tashi view point

View point  of kanchenjunga mountain and gangtok mountain. Yeah you can see the different angle of Kanchenjunga mountain. From here you can also see the all the  city.

3-Gonjan monastery

This is famous monastery of the Gangtok. from here you can see greenery mountain and enjoy the peace. Inside their Buddha's idol.

4-Ganesh tok

From this temple can see beautifull gangtok city. This temple is dedicated to lord Ganesha. There are small market outside of Ganesh tok where you can buy some toys are some winter cap.

   5-hanuman tok

This temple is under care of indian army. This temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman.

6-directorate of handicraft and handloom

Here you can see various differentilly able person which is making various kind of article like aasan, statue ,some sarees and domestic decorative item and  you can buy also there.

7- Flower exibition centre

This is like a flower garden. You can see the various variety of the flower.

8-M.G.Marg

After visiting All the above places I mentioned go to your room and take some rest and then it evening go for this market this is open shopping centre. Ahead of this market there are Lal market where you can buy chief product and you can do bargaining.

 Note for Tourists-   at last after visiting the all the place, go to your room and take rest. And in evening go to MG Marg this is like open shopping mall and then ahead of this market there are Lal market where you can do budget friendly shopping  with bargaining.

Some special fact of gangtoke:–

1) if you once sit in a taxi you cannot spite and it's urgent then inside all taxi there are E-DUSTBINE. even you can not spite in walking in road also. strict rules and regulations are there.

2) In every hotel there's no fan because temperature not go beyond an average temperature 21 centigrade all time.

2nd day visiting place

(following places from 1- 2 have cover in one full day) 

(for going  tsomogo lake and baba mandir from gangtok takes 3 to 4 hour)

1-Tsomogo lake

situated in 12,400ft from MSL. Hear you can do the yok ride.If you go this place in September October November you will not find snow but if you go in December you will find a light snow but if you go in this place in May June July April you found a heavy snow.

2-Baba mandir

This Temple dedicated to Harbhajan Singh which was the soldier of Indian army who was died and after die it's said that it was helping to to Indian army like if anyone is sleeping then and it's awake  them to fight against to enemy.

Note  for tourists

1) for going to Baba mandir you need to make a special permit  so don't forget to carry 02 passport size photograph.

2) Baba mandir situated in higher altitude that's why health related issue can come so before going to Baba Mandir you need to carry all the medicine related to your health like vomiting, blood pressure, suagr etc. 

If you vomit frequently then you can take medicine  beforehand by taking advice of physicians.
